MUGA Scan

Multiple Gated Acquisition Scan is a noninvasive way to measure the functioning of the heart while it is moving. We are able to get a good look at the ventricles of the heart and monitor the ejection fraction. It can also be helpful in following the strength of cardiac function post-chemotherapy treatment. There is no preparation for this scan.
