Regina Berkovich, MD, is a neurology specialist at the Medical Imaging Center of Southern California located in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California. Her specialty is diagnosing multiple sclerosis along with a host of other neurological conditions.

Her knowledge and experience involve an exceptional educational background, which began in her home in Russia. She graduated high school in 1985 and continued her education by studying medicine at Kazan State Medical University. 

During her postgraduate journey, she gained extensive knowledge through her many fellowship opportunities. These fellowships allowed Dr. Berkovich to study clinical neurology and neuro-pharmacology and subsequently garnered her a residency in 1991 at St. Petersburg Pavlov State Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. She excelled in the university’s Department of Neurology, eventually becoming an assistant professor in neuro-pharmacology. 

Following her experience in Russia, she transitioned to the University of Southern California in 2003 for a clinical fellowship in the neurology department, researching multiple sclerosis, specifically. The following year, she became an attending neurologist and assistant professor at USC’s Keck School of Medicine. 

Since 2006, she has received various awards and honors for her work in the medical field, as well as numerous publication opportunities in conjunction with USC and beyond.
