Dr. Regina Berkovich is an internationally renown neurologist with expertise in Multiple Sclerosis and other Demyelinating inflammatory conditions of the central nervous system such as NMOSD.
She extensively published on the subject of MS and immunomodulatory therapies; her publications include classic papers on MS relapse diagnosis and therapy, clinical reports on various new disease modifying therapies for MS and manuscripts on her Investigator Initiated studies.
Her PhD is in clinical pharmacology; a lot of her scientific work is dedicated to the mechanism of action of immunomodulatory medications.
She served as a clinical, research and teaching faculty of the First Pavlov Medical University (St. Petersburg, Russia) and University of Southern California USC Keck School of Medicine (Los Angeles, CA).
She is a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator of several key clinical trials in Multiple Sclerosis.
Currently she directs a private Multiple Sclerosis Center in Beverly Hills, and continues as a teaching faculty at USC.
